Corvettes are awesome - our members are better!

Come for the cars. Stay for the friendships.

Welcome to the Old Dominion Corvette Club! Founded in 2005, our vision is based upon the promotion of, interest in, and sharing of knowledge about "America's Sports Car". We sponsor or participate in a variety of informal and formal local, regional and national activities. Our activities are open to all family members and we encourage and welcome everyone’s participation. Family-friendly activities include our monthly club meeting, judging events, car shows, local cruises, multi-day trips and our own annual Cruise-In. Our fund-raising benefits multiple local charities and the National Corvette Museum. We are a diverse group of young, old(er), single and multi-car owners, gear heads and not. We are people who like to have a good time and enjoy each other's company. Whether it's hitting up a winery on a gorgeous day, going on an ice cream run, a drive to an interesting location or a multi-day trip, we are ready to go!

Our monthly member meetings are at 10:00 a.m., the 2nd Saturday of most months, at Bungalow Lakehouse in Sterling, VA. Check our calendar for details.

Our 34th annual Cruise-In was a good success, considering how hot the weather was. In spite of nearly 100 degree temps, we had about 125 Corvettes on site. Check out the Cruise-In photo album and Cruise-In Sponsors pages. We're now getting ready for our 35th anniversary event! Check out our Photo Gallery to see pics of past events, and our Event Calendar to see upcoming ones. Join us at an event or at our next Member Meeting, say “Hi" and see what we are all about.  Be sure to check out the newsletter link in the menu at the top of the page to see what we've been doing and visit our Facebook page. Don't have a Corvette yet, but want to learn all about them?  Become an Associate Member. Our club members will welcome you, and answer all your questions. Finally, please visit and support our Sponsors.

30th Anniversary Corvette Caravan

Taking place only every 5 years, the NCM's National Corvette Caravan should be a bucket list item for every Corvette owner or fan. Joining ~ 5700 of their closest Corvette friends, a small group of ODCC members headed down I-95, I-85 and I-40 to meet the rest of the Carolinas, Virginia and Maryland regional caravan in Asheville, NC. The next day, following a delicious lunch at the Biltmore, the regional Caravan headed on to Sevierville, TN, and then on to Bowling Green. ODCC's own Events Coordinator led a procession of about 170 Corvettes, 4 miles long, into Bowling Green, around the assembly plant, and past the museum. Looking in the rearview mirror and seeing nothing but Corvettes as far as one could see was an awesome experience. Representatives from the Corvette team gave highly informative and interesting presentations on the new ZR-1 and its LT7 powerplant (what an amazing achievement that is!). Suppliers such as Michelin and Mobil 1 also gave technical presentations. It was a great trip, and a great time for all.

 Corvettes at Carlisle

An intrepid group of early risers met in Leesburg at 6:15 am on August 23rd to make an early arrival time in Carlisle. Stopping near Thurmont for a quick breakfast and a second (or third) cup of coffee, our travelers then spent the day ogling the incredible new Corvette ZR-1, wandering the Fun Field, and spending their hard earned cash at the many on-site vendors. Always a good time for die-hard Corvette fans, if you've never been to this show you should be sure to join us next year.

Weekday Wanderers

On August 16th a group of ODCC members who are retired (or played hooky from work) took a new back roads route to Front Royal for lunch at at what is becoming an ODCC favorite, PaveMint Taphouse. Skipping our frequent "Tail of the Lizard" route, club members drove up and over Skyline drive at the always entertaining, fast and twisty Thornton's Gap, then traveled north from Luray in the valley west of the mountains. Heading out Fort Valley Rd, Camp Roosevelt Rd, Mountain Rd, and then Rivermont Dr into Front Royal. The weather was perfect for a scenic drive and an outdoor lunch, as we dragged a couple of picnic tables together. The BBQ was, as usual, delicious as we enjoyed good food and good company. We hope you can join us on our next Weekday Wanderers event.
